On-call are recruiting for a Contracts Manager & NICEIC-qualified Supervisor to work in Colwick for a blue-chip client striving to provide excellent customer service to its construction industry clients.
This is a NICEIC-qualified role where you will be managing RAMS, scheduling programme of works including management of labour, procurement, variations, testing, and commissioning for handover to clients. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing projects, liaising with both the Contracts Director and Operations Director, providing a high-class service to meet the needs of both the client and our client.
A successful candidate will have good communicational skills and be a team player with strong leadership qualities – the need to build strong relationships with integrity, trust and openness with colleagues is very important to our client. They will also need a sound knowledge of project management software, with knowledge and experience in business development.
Estimating experience of project values in excess of £300,000 would be preferable.
This role comes with a negotiable salary (based on experience) starting at £40,000 PA, with generous car allowance, private medical insurance and bonus scheme provided along with statutory 28-day holiday entitlement.
You will need to be:
- A qualified electrician and/or
- Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Management
- Level 3 award in Periodic Inspection, Testing And Certification of Electrical Installations – C&G 2391-52, 2392 or equivalent.
- You will need to have an understanding the Electricity At Work Regulations, current edition of BS 7671, and the Codes of Practice and guidance documents relevant to the range of electrical work undertaken.
